Agreement to Terms By creating an account on the XI Objects Platform ("Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, and Content Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use our services. ## 2\. About XI Objects XI Objects, Inc. builds provenance and attribution infrastructure for AI. Our Platform provides tools and services for establishing verifiable content attribution, cryptographic provenance, and perceptual identification across digital media. ## 3\. Account Registration ### 3.1 Requirements - You must provide a valid email address - You must verify your email before accessing Platform features - You must create a secure password - Optional: You may enable TOTP-based two-factor authentication (recommended) ### 3.2 Account Security You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. Notify us immediately at [security@xiobjects.com](mailto:security@xiobjects.com) if you suspect unauthorized access. ### 3.3 Attribution Profile You may establish an attribution profile with information such as your name, organization, or other identifiers. This profile can be used to attribute content you create or certify through our services. You control what attribution information you provide and how it's used. ## 4\. Platform Services ### 4.1 Available Services The Platform may include access to: - **Content Attribution** — Tools for establishing provenance and attribution chains - **Media Fingerprinting** — Perceptual identification for images and video - **C2PA Integration** — Content authenticity manifest creation and verification - **Orbital Services** — Attribution storage and verification infrastructure - **Testing Environments** — Beta features and experimental capabilities - **APIs and SDKs** — Developer tools for integration Service availability varies by account type and may change over time. We will notify you of material changes to services you use. ### 4.2 Beta and Testing Features Some Platform features are designated as beta, preview, or testing. These features: - Are provided "as-is" without warranty - May change or be discontinued without notice - Should not be relied upon for production use unless otherwise indicated ## 5\. Your Content ### 5.1 Ownership You retain all ownership rights to content you upload or process through the Platform. ### 5.2 License Grant By using our services, you grant XI Objects a limited license to: - Process your content through our attribution and fingerprinting systems - Store fingerprints, manifests, and metadata derived from your content - Provide the services you request ### 5.3 Attribution Services When you use our attribution services: - Attribution data you create is associated with your account - You control whether attribution is publicly verifiable or private - Public attributions may be discoverable through XI Objects verification systems - Private/testing attributions remain internal to your account ### 5.4 Testing and Beta Content Content uploaded to testing or beta environments: - Will not be publicly distributed without your consent - Will not appear in public attribution systems unless you explicitly publish it - May be deleted when testing periods conclude - May be used by XI Objects to validate and improve our systems ### 5.5 What We Will NOT Do - **No sale of content:** We do not sell your content or personal information - **No unauthorized AI training:** Your content will not be used to train third-party AI models without consent - **No commercial exploitation:** Your content will not be commercially exploited beyond providing requested services ## 6\. Content Policy ### 6.1 Acceptable Use Use the Platform for lawful purposes consistent with its intended function: establishing provenance, attribution, and authenticity for digital content. ### 6.2 Prohibited Content You may **NOT** upload, process, or associate with attribution: #### Illegal Material - Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance, immediate termination and law enforcement referral - Content that violates applicable laws #### Explicit & Harmful Content - Pornography or sexually explicit material - Graphic violence, gore, or mutilation - Content depicting torture, abuse, or extreme cruelty #### Dangerous Content - Instructions for weapons, explosives, or harmful substances - Content promoting self-harm or suicide - Malware or malicious code #### Fraudulent Use - False attribution claims - Impersonation of others - Content intended to deceive about provenance or authenticity #### Rights Violations - Content you do not have rights to use - Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights ### 6.3 Enforcement Violations may result in: - Content removal - Account suspension or termination - Reporting to appropriate authorities where required by law ## 7\. API usage is subject to: - Rate limits and usage quotas - These Terms of Service - Additional API-specific documentation ### 8.2 Integration Requirements If you integrate XI Objects services into your applications: - You are responsible for your end users' compliance with these terms - You must accurately represent XI Objects attribution and verification results - You may not misrepresent the source or meaning of provenance data ## 9\. Disclaimers and Limitations ### 9.1 Service Availability The Platform is provided "as-is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation. ### 9.2 Verification Limitations Attribution and provenance verification indicates cryptographic validity of claims—it does not guarantee the truthfulness of underlying content or the trustworthiness of claimants. ### 9.3 Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, XI Objects shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use. ## 10\. Changes to Terms We may update these terms as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via your registered email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. ## 11\. Termination ### 11.1 By You You may close your account at any time through account settings or by contacting [support@xiobjects.com](mailto:support@xiobjects.com). ### 11.2 By XI Objects We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or for other reasons with notice, except violations of the Content Policy may result in immediate termination. ### 11.3 Effect of Termination Upon termination: - Your access to services ends - Content you uploaded will be deleted (public attributions you created may persist in verification systems) - These terms survive to the extent necessary ## 12\. General ### 12.1 Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA. ### 12.2 Entire Agreement These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and XI Objects regarding Platform use. ### 12.3 Severability If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in effect. ## 13\.
