You send an image and, optionally, the manifests you want kept with it. Parallax derives what the engine needs, discards your pixels, and records the registration. Later, anyone can send an image to the look-up surface and learn whether it is registered. If the match is yours, you get your registration id and the manifests you registered with it back. The API is a private beta. An operator mints an API token for your account and gives it to you. Every route except the health check requires that token.
